In the phonics realm, I'm also trying out "Phonics Pathways", currently just checked out of the library. We're doing a bit at a time, seeing if we like it.

Phonics (Pathways) -- 3 letter word review (pages 36 & 37)

Phonics (Plaid) -- Short-a high-frequency words, critical thinking, spelling (pages 74 & 75)

Handwriting (HWoT) -- Introduce 'j'

Math (RS) -- Tens & ones game, evens up to 30 (Lesson 27)

Reading -- Read "The Snowball", last half of "The Pirate Map"
